NimBooks

NimBooks is the accounting layer for Nimiq Pay — track NIM balances and history with fiat values, export accountant-ready CSV statements, and issue signed proof-of-payment receipts anyone can verify publicly, no backend required.

I run an independent Nimiq validator, so I spend a lot of time watching NIM move around: rewards landing, payments going out, stakes changing. The chain remembers everything, but a wallet shows it as a feed of transactions. When tax season came, making sense of it meant spreadsheets and guesswork.

So I built NimBooks: the books Nimiq Pay was missing. Balances and day-by-day history with live fiat values, and a tax-ready statement an accountant will actually accept. Then the parts I couldn't find anywhere else: signed, verifiable receipts for payments (no backend, the signature is the proof), payment requests that settle as on-chain invoices, and the first staking and unstaking flow built into Nimiq Pay itself.

Everything runs client-side in the Pay WebView: your keys never leave your wallet, and your books never leave your device. I built it for my own NIM, and I hope it's useful for yours.
