Payout System

Paid in 3 equal installments over 3 months

Prizes are paid in USDC on Polygon. Each payout is contingent on the Mini App meeting basic maintenance requirements.

Month 1 payout

Winner announcement

  • Mini App is live and functional

  • Builder has accepted the prize terms

Month 2 payout

30 days later

  • Mini App is still live and has been continuously accessible

  • Any critical bugs reported by users have been addressed

  • Builder has responded to community feedback

Month 3 payout

60 days later

  • Mini App is still live and has been continuously accessible

  • Mini App has received at least one meaningful update

    New feature, UX improvement, or performance fix

  • Builder provides a short written summary of Mini App status and next steps

If a builder fails to meet a monthly milestone, that month's payout is forfeited. Previous payouts are not clawed back.

Beyond the prizes: After the 3-month prize period, builders who want to continue developing their Mini App can apply to the Nimiq Community Funding Board for continuation funding.
